Selenium CH has a great influence on genital and urinary organs. It is mostly indicated for weakness, sexual debility, atony, prostatitis, etc in elderly men. Depending upon the individualization of case, it is also used for other problems by homoeopathic physicians.

It has marked action on the genitals, and often indicated in elderly men, especially for inflammation of prostate gland and loss of sexual tone. Great debility of body especially worse at heat. Mental and physical exertion in old age. Debility after exhausting diseases. Mind : Lascivious thoughts, with impotency. Excessive sexual desire. Mental labour with fatigue. Extreme sadness all the time. Head : Hair falls out. Pain over left eye; worse walking in sun, strong odors and tea. Scalp feels tense. Headache from tea drinking. Throat : Hoarseness of voice. Dosage: Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicine varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age sensitivity and other things, In some cases they are give as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a long period.
