Acetanilidum is commonly known as antifebrinum. Its chemical formula is CH3CONHC6H5. It is formed from aniline. This chemical compound is used as a dyeing agent in the cloth industry. It is used as a pesticide and fungicide in the agricultural industry. In the medical field, Aniline is used in the production of various drugs such as paracetamol, acetaminophen, and Tylenol.
