Ammonium Benzoicum Homeopathy

Ammonium Benzoicum CH is a homeopathic medicine prepared from the derivative of Ammonia, the Benzoate of Ammonia. A homeopathic mother tincture is prepared from the benzoate of ammonia by diluting with alcohol or distilled water. Further dilutions are derived from this mother tincture or mother solution.

Ammonium Benzoicum Uses

Ammonium benzoicum is one of the useful homeopathic remedies for clinical conditions like albuminuria, dropsy, gout, indigestion, ranula, and rheumatism. It is mostly a right-sided remedy. It is indicated for symptoms such as:

• Heaviness of head with stupor.

• Face bloated with swollen eyelids.

• Swelling under the tongue like ranula.

• Smoky, scanty, and strong-smelling urine with albuminous and thick sediments. The right kidney is very sensitive to pressure. Urinary incontinence in the aged people.

• Dull pain and soreness in the region of the right kidney.

• Backache with pain across the sacrum and urgency to stool.

• Rheumatic complaints with gouty deposits in joints. Gout with fluid in great toe-joint.

• Swelling of the eyelids with a sensation of swelling and soreness in the puncta and saccus lachrymalis.

• Frequent eructations of food without acidity due to the weakness of digestion.

• Increased mucus in the larynx which causes frequent hawking and spitting.
