The jerking and twitching does not extend to throat and face and is not associated with tight jaw, foaming at the mouth or closure of the airways. The attack ends with a fever of short duration and is followed by deep sleep. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period.
