Indications

It is used extensively as a fever remedy, antiseptic and as a bitter tonic for infectious and intermittent fevers in hot climatic conditions. Head: Congestion of head with sensation of tightness around the head. Scalp feels tight and head feels as if bound with burning in the eyes and buzzing in the ears. Fever: It is indicated in fevers with severe cold, running nose and sneezing with headache and body pains. Chills all over the body, which gets worse in bed at night. Sore and bruised feeling with nausea and retching. Skin: Skin wrinkled as if soaked in water for a long time. Scalp feels tight as if drawn together by a rubber. Dosage: Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period.
