Indications

This remedy generally stimulates all functions of the body especially nerves and circulation. It is characterized by extreme sensitivity with great restlessness and nervous agitation. Mind: It is indicated for bad effects of sudden emotions with overactivity of mind. Mind full of ideas with quick senses. Mental irritability with acute senses and restlessness. Pains drives him to despair and tosses about from pain and anguish. Head: Headache from noise, smell and narcotics worse in open air. Severe throbbing pains with tightness as if brain were torn to pieces or a nail were driven in head. Face: Skin dry, hot with red cheeks. Neuralgic pains in the face extending to molar teeth, ears, forehead and scalp. Mouth: Toothache which is temporarily relieved by holding cold water in the mouth. Eats and drinks hastily. Stomach: Increased appetite, eats hastily. Cannot bear tight clothes around the waist especially after wine and liquor. Female: Painful menses which appears too early and prolonged with large clots of black blood. Oversensitivity of vulva with intense itching, which induces sexual desire. Sleep: This remedy is useful in case of sleeplessness from increased mental activity with flow of ideas. Wakes up very early with a start, sleep disturbed by dreams and nervous excitability.
