Indications

It is very useful in treating chronic infections of larynx and lungs with profuse expectoration and whooping cough . Deep irritating cough after midnight with yellowish expectoration and bleeding from nose and mouth. Hoarseness of voice from laryngitis with rough, scraping sensation in the fauces and soft palate. Sensation of foreign body in the throat with tickling sensation. Irritating and titillating cough in children as soon as the head touches the pillow at night. Contraction of the throat with every word spoken with difficulty in breathing from talking. Extremities: Violent pains in hip joints and thighs with stiffness in the joints of feet. Lameness and weakness of the limbs. Fever: Very cold with internal chills and shivering, with hot face and cold hands. Fever without thirst. Modalities: Worse after midnight, lying down, on getting warm in bed, drinking, singing and laughing.
