Indications

Guaco is a valuable and multifaceted homoeopathic medicine prepared from the fresh leaves of Mikania guaco , a tropical climbing plant belonging to the Compositae family. Traditionally recognized for its powerful antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties, Guaco demonstrates a wide spectrum of action, particularly on the gastrointestinal system , spinal cord and nerves , urinary organs , and female reproductive system . It is particularly suited to cases of cholera-like diarrhoea , paralytic symptoms , rheumatism , and corrosive leucorrhoea with violent itching. The medicine is marked by drawing, tearing, and burning sensations , along with general weakness and fatigue , making it beneficial in both acute infections and chronic spinal or pelvic disorders . Common Name:  Guaco SBL’s Guaco can be helpful in the following conditions: Choleraic and Diarrhoeal Affections Sudden, urgent stools at early hours (4–6 a.m.), first dark brown , later watery and rice-water-like in appearance. Diarrhoea followed by sacral aching , fatigue , and general prostration . Useful in cholera-like symptoms with profuse, painless discharges and weakness. Congestion of haemorrhoidal veins , often accompanying bowel disturbances. Polyuria and Phosphaturia Excessive and frequent urination with a high presence of phosphates , leading to weakness in the hips and loins . Pain and pressure over the bladder . Leucorrhoea and Violent Itching Copious, corrosive leucorrhoea causing yellow staining of linen and burning irritation of the thighs. Sensation of “ fire running out ” with violent itching , especially worse at night . Acts as a vital support in chronic vaginal infections and post-inflammatory conditions . Spine and Nervous System Disorders Severe drawing, tearing, and burning pains from nape to shoulders , often radiating to axilla or forearms . Avoid strong smells (onion, hing, mint, garlic) during use. Allow 15 minutes gap between two homoeopathic medicines, 30 mins gap between Homoeopathic medicines and food, or one hour gap between Homoeopathic medicines or another system of medicines.
