Helianthus annuus , commonly known as Sunflower, is a homoeopathic medicine derived from the mature flower-heads and ripe seeds of the plant. Belonging to the Compositae family, it has a wide spectrum of action, particularly known for its benefits in conditions involving the spleen, nasal obstructions, skin eruptions, and gastric disturbances. In homoeopathy, Helianthus annuus is used to relieve symptoms of epistaxis, haemorrhoids, urticaria, and sore throat, along with aiding recovery from cold, vomiting, and rheumatic pains.
