This is an ovarian remedy producing the symptoms of chronic inflammation in the ovary. It is useful where the functional tissue is not completely destroyed, motor weakness, aversion to exercise and acts on the skin and mind.

Mind - Treats sadness, cheerful when around people but exhausted later, love for acceptance easily offended with the tendency to use violent language.

Head - As reported, the remedy covers pain across the top of the head, neuralgia with pain in the shoulders, irritation and sour eructation and yellowish complexion.

Abdomen - The remedy cures soreness and swelling, pain from navel to pelvis, intestines feel entangles and excessive accumulation of gas.

Female - It covers pain and swelling in right ovary, navel and breast, menstrual discharge, inflammation in the membrane with right-sided pain and backache, uterine prolapse and pain in the uterus which is relieved after stool.

Extremities - Treats tired feeling in the back, neuralgic pains in extremities, heavy and tired in limbs and pain in right shoulder and in right hip.

Indications

It is indicated in chronic inflammation of ovaries where the parenchyma of the ovary is totally destroyed. It also acts on mind and skin. Mind: There is love of approbation. The patient is in weeping mood. There is inclination to use violent language. Head: The head feels as if swung backward and forward. The pain spreads across ear to ear worse in the evening. Abdomen: The pain in abdomen extends from navel to the pelvis. The intestine feels as if strangulated. Female: It is mainly indicated in uterine prolapse, retroversion of uterus and subacute pelvic peritonitis. Menses is profuse and irregular. There is pain and swelling in the right ovarian region. The pain is shooting and burning with bearing down sensation which is relieved by rubbing. Dosage: Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period.
