Viola odorata , also known as Violet, is a homoeopathic medicine derived from the sweet violet plant. It exerts a marked influence on the ear, eyes, upper respiratory tract, and nervous system. Belonging from Violaceae family, this medicine is particularly indicated in cases involving right-sided rheumatism, visual disturbances, and conditions affecting children, especially those with nervous temperaments. It is also locally beneficial for pain associated with uterine fibroids, traditionally used against snake bites and bee stings, and helpful in treating worm infestations in children. Common Names:  Banaksa, Sweet Scented Violet SBL’s Viola odorata can be helpful in the following conditions: Ear & Sensory Complaints: • Viola odorata is beneficial for shooting pains in the ears, roaring sensations, and aversion to music. • Helps in cases of otorrhœa and deafness, especially when accompanied by eye pain. • Supports auditory nerve health and relieves deep stitches around and beneath the ears.
