Kali chloricum is a potent homoeopathic medicine derived from Chlorate of Potassium , primarily affecting the urinary system, oral mucosa, and blood composition. Known for its destructive effects on the kidneys, it plays a critical role in assisting conditions such as croupous nephritis, parenchymatous inflammation, hemoglobinuria, and chronic nephritis, often accompanied by stomatitis, anemia, or toxemia of pregnancy. The medicine is especially valuable in acute ulcerative and gangrenous conditions of the mouth and toxemic states with septicemia or hepatic involvement. Common Name English: Potassium Chlorate SBL’s Kali chloricum can be helpful in the following conditions: Apthae and Acidic Saliva Highly beneficial in acute ulcerative, aphthous, and gangrenous stomatitis. Profuse acidic saliva, foul breath, and gray-based ulcers on a red, swollen mucous membrane. Kali chloricum is useful in mercurial stomatitis and Cramp-like pressure in joint of jaw, with stitching pain in jaw and teeth. Swollen tongue with severe inflammation of the mucosa and painful ulcerations. Recommended for noma (malnourishment of children due to bacterial infection) and septic lesions. Gastrointestinal Distress Sensation of weight and heaviness in the epigastric and umbilical regions. Cutting pain in stomach. Flatulence, nausea, and vomiting of greenish-black matter suggestive of deep gastric irritation. Indicated in pain in splenic region, with enlargement of spleen . Griping colic, with diarrhœa and shifting of the flatulence. Irregular Bowel Diarrhea with profuse greenish mucus, often associated with infective or septic states.
